Today, I am both humbled and exhilarated to share a decision that reflects our deepest values and highest aspirations: making all our in-house built ANC equity, options, and futures trading software to open source in the coming weeks.

This initiative is more than a gesture; it's our commitment to democratize finance and empower communities. Three years ago, when we started ANC Equities, we were driven by a singular mission to create tools that would not only advance our capabilities but someday serve a larger purpose. That day has arrived.

The tools we’ve nurtured—ANC Trading, ANC Backtesting, ANC Gateway, and ANC Central API—are ready to be shared with the world.

By lowering the barriers to entry, we're not just sharing our tools; we're seeding a movement that hands the reins of financial innovation back to the people.

The essence of our open-source initiative includes:

  • ANC Trading: Designed to democratize quantitative trading with real-time execution and reporting capabilities.
  • ANC Backtesting, utilizing Zipline: This tool epitomizes our belief in rigorous testing and refinement, ensuring that anyone, anywhere, can validate their strategies with the highest confidence.
